Bus Driver Trainee

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Bus Driver Trainee to join our team at Arriva Yorkshire Limited. As a Bus Driver Trainee, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that all passengers receive a high level of service.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Operate the bus in a safe and efficient manner, minimizing fuel consumption and reducing emissions.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to improve driving skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Must be over 18 years of age.
- Have been driving for a minimum of 6 months.
- No more than 6 points on your licence.
- Will need undergo a drug and alcohol test before your assessment.
- Great people skills.
- Flexibility as your shifts will start as early as 4AM in the morning but will always work no later than 1AM depending on the time that you start.
