Financial Analyst and Billing Coordinator

Arcus Solutions is recruiting for a Financial Analyst and Billing Coordinator to join our finance team in Upminster on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our team to optimize our billing processes and ensure timely recovery of costs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Liaising with internal functions and external suppliers to ensure purchase invoices are received, captured, and recorded on to our billing systems within the required timeframe.
- Building strong relationships with suppliers to facilitate smooth communication and timely invoicing.
- Proactively pursuing sub-contractors to ensure that required paperwork and accompanying invoices are submitted within the required timeframe.
- Capturing all costs that fall outside of scope and which are fully chargeable, ensuring that these are recorded on client systems for recovery.
- Providing analysis and reporting on cost recovery ratios, highlighting areas for improvement and recommending implementing changes.
- Ensuring work orders are moved to End of Life (EOL) within the required time scales to achieve company KPIs.
- Assisting the credit controller with issuing invoices for other areas as required to maximize cash receipts.
- Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports as requested.
You will have extensive Sales Ledger experience gained within a fast-paced environment, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to retain information at pace. Experience in using systems such as Verisae, Aeromark, and Infor is advantageous. You will also have excellent Excel skills and be able to work with several different systems, with the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
The successful candidate will have a salary of approximately £27,000 - £33,000 per annum, depending on experience, and will be eligible for a discretionary bonus scheme of up to 4% subject to achievement of targets. Other benefits include 25 days holiday plus Bank holidays, a Group personal pension scheme with matched contributions between 5% and 6%, life assurance, and various learning and development opportunities.
