Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop menus that cater to the needs and preferences of our residents; ">
  • Work with fresh produce to deliver high-quality, wholesome dishes that meet the highest standards of quality and nutrition; ">
  • Help manage the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence; ">
  • Contribute to creating a warm, efficient, and fun environment for our residents and staff; ">
  • Work within budget to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen; ">
  • Complete regular audits to maintain high standards of quality and safety; ">
  • Manage stock control to minimize waste and optimize resources; ">
  • Assist in leading and motivating a team to achieve excellent results. ">

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • A City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent qualification in culinary arts; ">
  • Experience in helping lead and inspire a team; ">
  • A good understanding of HACCP and nutrition principles; ">
  • The ability to create a warm and welcoming environment for residents and staff; ">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ">

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
