Regional Solicitor - Employment Law

Our client, a trade union based in the UK, is seeking a highly skilled Regional Solicitor to join their Legal Services team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct claims and litigation in the name of the union, and represent individual members in tribunals and courts requiring specialist legal knowledge or expertise.
  • Represent individual members of the Union in tribunals and courts, internal hearings, and other procedures when required.
  • Represent individual members of the Union at regulatory bodies.
  • Provide advice and support to colleagues on legal issues.
  • Contribute to the training of staff and members of the Union on legal issues.
  • Contribute to the preparation of a range of written documents and articles on legal issues affecting members.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Solicitor, or equivalent, with a minimum of two years' post-qualification experience in employment law.
  • Ability and experience to contribute to and support delivery of training programmes.
  • Proven experience in handling employment law cases.
