Experienced HGV Class 1 Driver Wanted

We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our team as an HGV Class 1 Driver. This is an ongoing position with a focus on pallet collection and deliveries, including fridge work, on Monday to Friday shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles for pallet collection and deliveries.
  • Maintain excellent customer service with a positive attitude.
  • Ensure vehicle cleanliness and complete paperwork accurately.
  • Possess good knowledge of the area and road networks.
Requirements:
  • Valid Category CE / Class 1 Driving Licence.
  • Valid Driver CPC.
  • Valid Driver Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Clean driving record (no more than 6 points, no DD/DR in the last 5 years).
  • Minimum 3 years' HGV Class 1 driving experience.
  • Authorised to work in the UK.
  • Flexible attitude (occasional night shifts required).
  • Own transportation (public transport may not be reliable).
What We Offer:
  • Fixed Schedule: Choose from day shifts (6:00-8:00 AM) or night shifts (18:00-18:30 PM).
  • Competitive Salary: £15.00 per hour PAYE (minimum weekly) with potential for more through overtime and double-time shifts.
  • Benefits Package: Pension contributions after probation, up to 28 days holiday per year, holiday pay accrual, FREE CPC training, upskilling opportunities (HIAB, ADR, Forklift, Moffett), weekly pay, contracts of employment, temp-to-perm options, all uniform provided.
