Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Java/Kotlin Backend Developer to join our team. As a Backend Developer, you will design and build solutions based on business requirements, coach and help the team to build the designed solution, define and build pipelines as code with Azure DevOps (CI/CD), and work with frontend teams to build REST APIs, asynchronous processes, batches, database, and cache access.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build solutions based on business requirements
  • Coach and help the team to build the designed solution
  • Define and build pipelines as code with Azure DevOps (CI/CD)
  • Work with frontend teams to build REST APIs, asynchronous processes, batches, database, and cache access
  • Define and follow coding conventions and rules (Sonar, ktlint, checkstyle)
  • Write unit and functional tests
  • Participate in code reviews and welcome, help, and manage new joiners

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or any STEM subject
  • 4-6 years of experience as a Java Backend Developer, preferably in a start-up, fast-paced environment
  • Experience with designing and building business services in micro-services/cloud architecture with Spring Boot
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies
  • Experience with financial datasets/ETL
  • Fluency in English
