Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualised support to students with behavioural challenges.
  • Develop and implement effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Monitor and track student progress, adjusting support plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers to integrate behaviour support into classroom activities.
  • Build positive relationships with students, fostering trust and respect.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress.
  • Work with external agencies and professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive school environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people in a mentoring or support role.
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
  • Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations.
  • Genuine passion for helping students overcome barriers to their learning.
  • Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or a related field are desirable but not essential.
