About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Marubeni Komatsu Ltd. As a key member of our on-site presence, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing Komatsu plant machinery while ensuring safe working practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform pre-planned preventative maintenance, including completing accurate and timely maintenance, and documenting work completed.
  • Carry out Walk Around Inspections to ensure equipment is operating at expected performance levels.
  • Identify and order any necessary parts for additional work.
  • Keep customers and supervisors informed of estimated time of arrival and progress.
  • Complete site-specific risk assessments and method statements prior to commencing work.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a positive working relationship with customers.
Requirements
  • Experience working with heavy plant and machinery.
  • Experience working on customer sites.
  • H&S training in PPE awareness and hand tools.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and on own initiative.
  • NVQ level 2 in plant maintenance or equivalent.
  • Desirable: SPA and/or CSCS training, IOSH training, and IPAF training.
