Support Teacher Leader Role

We seek a highly skilled and compassionate Support Teacher Leader to join our team, dedicated to supporting children and young people with SEND and mental health challenges.

  • Lead the implementation and monitoring of EHCPs in collaboration with colleagues, parents, and external agencies, ensuring students receive the necessary support.
  • Oversee outreach programmes that promote inclusivity and strengthen community ties.
Job Description:

The Support Teacher Leader will be responsible for designing and delivering tailored teaching approaches that address the specific needs of students. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to establish effective relationships with colleagues, parents, and external agencies.

Requirements:
  • PGCE with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • A compassionate, patient, and flexible teaching approach, with a focus on both student well-being and academic achievement.
