Main Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen operations.
- Supervise and train junior members of the team to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
- Manage kitchen inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Assist in maintaining a positive and productive team environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a similar environment.
- Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on quality, presentation, and taste.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train team members.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Ability to work well under pressure, with a positive attitude and a commitment to excellence.
