Job Summary

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment is seeking an experienced Reach Truck Driver to join their team in a busy warehouse environment. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for operating a Reach FLT, moving, storing, and picking stock, as well as performing manual duties around the warehouse.

Our client is a leading supplier of healthcare products, with a new distribution facility in the Castle Donnington area. They are a market leader in their industry, with a strong commitment to promoting from within and providing opportunities for career progression.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Reach FLT driver to work on a stable morning shift, Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will have a valid Reach Forklift Truck licence and experience as a Reach Truck Driver. You will be required to operate a Reach FLT, as well as perform manual duties around the warehouse, including goods in and out, movement and storage of stock, and safety checks.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a Reach FLT to move, store, and pick stock
  • Perform manual duties around the warehouse, including goods in and out
  • Conduct safety checks prior to FLT operation
  • Accurately pick and put away stock using paper documents

Requirements

  • Valid Reach Forklift Truck licence
  • Experience as a Reach Truck Driver
  • Physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks
  • Good eye for detail to complete paperwork accurately
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with managers and team members
  • Computer literacy to input data accurately
