About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Activities Coordinator to join our team at Exemplar Health Care's Brook View care home in Liverpool. As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in empowering our residents to live fulfilled and happy lives by organising and leading meaningful and entertaining activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organise individual activity plans based on residents' unique goals and interests
  • Foster community spirit through group activities
  • Support residents to maintain their current and take up new hobbies, interests, and educational opportunities
  • Assist residents to become more involved in their local community
  • Celebrate national awareness days, holidays, and individual/collective achievements
  • Promote choice, dignity, and independence

About You:

We are looking for someone who is caring, kind, and able to see the funny side of life. You should be a creative thinker, always on the lookout for new activities and ideas, and enthusiastic, encouraging, and inclusive. You will be a born organiser with a positive, can-do approach, great at listening and communicating, and understanding of individual needs.
