About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cook to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving nourishing and delightful meals for our residents. Your primary focus will be on considering individual preferences, special dietary requirements, and necessary modifications to ensure our residents receive the best possible dining experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and cooking meals in a timely manner
  • Managing kitchen teams to ensure efficient food preparation and service
  • Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and food storage areas
  • Ensuring proper stock rotation and minimizing waste
  • Monitoring and recording refrigerator, chiller, and freezer temperatures
  • Assisting in monitoring and recording environmental health requirements
  • Ensuring all mandatory paperwork is completed, including COSHH and HACCP guidelines, company policies, and procedures
