Job Overview

Talent Finder Jobs is seeking an experienced Pattern/Model Maker to join our team in Maidstone, Kent.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in mechanical engineering and be proficient in working with various materials such as steel, aluminium, model board, plywood, timber, and GRP (fibreglass).

We offer a competitive salary of £29,000 - £31,000 per annum plus overtime opportunities.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Pattern/Model Maker to work closely with our design team, painters, finishers, inspection team, and project management team.

The successful candidate will report to our Workshop Manager and work predominantly in our workshop environment.

Overtime is offered at 1.66 times the standard rate, and there may be instances where the candidate will need to work off-site to install and commission work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the design team to understand project requirements
  • Be prepared to handle a varied workload due to the diverse nature of our business
  • Report to the Workshop Manager
  • Work off-site to install and commission work, which may involve working overseas
