The Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Lead Frontend Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of a seamless and beautiful user experience. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing the user interface that empowers consumers, brokers, and operational functions to efficiently manage the mortgage research and application process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement reusable, testable, and efficient code that produces a seamless and beautiful user experience.
  • Work closely with other front-end developers and the broader engineering organization to deliver a smooth and seamless user experience for Acre.
  • Mentor other team members and promote software engineering best practices and a culture of quality across the Frontend Development team and across the code base.
Requirements
  • Passionate about software engineering and delivering a quality product.
  • Excellent understanding and experience with client-side JavaScript (Typescript), React, and CSS and HTML.
  • Committed to using automated testing platforms and unit tests to deliver readable, maintainable code.
  • Proficient with issue management, code versioning, continuous integration, and deployment tools.
