Westlakes Recruit is currently seeking a Graduate Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer to work on a permanent basis in Cumbria, with site visits 2-3 days a week.

About the Opportunity

We are delivering major programme and project management capabilities throughout the project lifecycle, working in both client-facing and internal roles. Our goal is to deliver safe, high-quality solutions on time by thinking innovatively and collaborating effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure design meets required regulatory, customer, and company standards.
  2. Deliver and verify EC&I-related engineering design deliverables within cost, schedule, and quality constraints.
  3. Oversee team progress and reporting.
  4. C Coordinate interfaces with other engineering disciplines.
  5. Perform appropriate engineering reviews.
  6. Identify discipline resource needs and support the recruitment process.
  7. Effectively manage design change and configuration.
  8. Recognize changes in scope of work and implement corresponding change requests.
Qualifications and Skills:
  1. Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  2. Mobilizing and recruiting discipline engineering resources, including competency assessment.
  3. A minimum level of UK security clearance is required due to the nature of the work.
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is around £30,000 - £40,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
