Job Overview

As a dedicated SEN Tutor, you will play a vital role in providing tailored support to students with special educational needs. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people and help them overcome challenges in their education.

The successful candidate will have experience in creating and delivering individualized lessons that cater to the unique needs of each student. You will work closely with families to understand their circumstances and develop a personalized approach to support their child's learning journey.

This part-time position involves working during school hours, five days a week. You will be required to submit regular progress reports to monitor the student's development and identify areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and deliver tailored 1:1 lessons to bridge gaps in pupils' education
  • Develop a structured approach to support pupils in their daily routine
  • Monitor pupil progression and report back to Prospero Teaching


Requirements:

To be eligible for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • UK classroom teaching experience
  • Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions
  • Experience working with challenging behaviour and disengaged pupils
