Commodities Risk Team Expansion

McGregor Boyall is seeking a highly skilled Python Developer to join our Commodities Risk team in London. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our proprietary trading platform, which is currently undergoing a green-field re-engineering phase.

The ideal candidate will have excellent Python programming skills, with a strong background in C#/.Net and experience working in a fullstack capacity using React. You will also have experience with continuous integration and containerisation tools such as Docker or Kubernetes, as well as prior experience working in the front office of a major financial institution.

We are looking for a candidate who can commit to 3 days per week onsite in London and who does not require visa sponsorship. If you have a strong passion for Commodities, Risk, and Derivatives, and are looking for a challenging role in a dynamic and growing team, please apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain our proprietary trading platform using Python and React
  • Work closely with the Commodities Risk team to design and implement new features and functionality
  • Collaborate with the wider market risk function to ensure seamless integration with existing systems
  • Ensure the platform meets the highest standards of quality, security, and performance

Requirements:

  • Excellent Python programming skills
  • Strong background in C#/.Net
