Job Title: Senior Physiotherapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Physiotherapist to join our team at Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, providing specialist physiotherapy services to patients in their own homes or care homes.

As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing patients with a range of conditions and complexities, using advanced clinical reasoning to develop accurate physiotherapy diagnoses and prognoses.

You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide health education, health promotion, and prevention advice, as well as managing a clinical caseload and formulating treatment programmes to meet individual patient goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist physiotherapy assessments and develop treatment plans to meet patient needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
  • Manage a clinical caseload and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient use of time.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication skills to work with patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development of the physiotherapy service, including quality improvement initiatives and service development projects.
Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
