Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in Marie Curie Hospice, Bradford on our REACT project. This is a rewarding role in palliative care where you can make a real difference.

Main Duties of the Job

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary community team providing high-quality, integrated, well-coordinated nursing support to patients discharged from the Emergency Department whose needs can be met by rapid response short-term intervention. The patients will all be within the last year of life and have a wide range of life-limiting conditions and presentations. The workload will be varied and require regular re-prioritisation and rapid assessment, offering the postholders a great learning experience in managing multiple conditions and complications effectively.

Salary: Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale, aligned with AFC Band 5 £28,407- £34,581 pro rata per annum + enhancements

This is a real career opportunity to both improve the patient and family experience, alongside reducing inequalities in access to specialist palliative care across Bradford. You will use evidence-based practice to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, supporting a team of healthcare assistants to ensure appropriate clinical care is delivered.
