Recruitment Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recruitment Agent to join our team at Maximus. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in identifying and growing a local network of employer partners and agencies who can provide suitable employment opportunities for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with local employers and agencies to source employment opportunities for our customers.
- Utilize automated search tools, regional data, and local knowledge to identify potential job openings and match 'job ready' customers to live vacancies.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to minimize duplication and ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Support Regional Account Managers in sourcing suitable candidates for large-scale recruitment campaigns on behalf of employers.
- Share market insight and feedback from employer partners and agencies to inform business decisions.
- Perform personalized job searches for customers based on their skills, experience, and aspirations.
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including logistics, CV submission, and interview scheduling, in conjunction with supporting Employment Advisors.
- Work closely with internal colleagues to ensure customers meet employer expectations and are prepared for the transition into work.
- Ensure compliance with Maximus policies and procedures to achieve zero compliance issues.
- Achieve individual and team targets to support wider business success.
- Support new staff through work shadowing, buddying, and providing assistance as needed.
- Previous work experience in a commercial recruitment or sales environment, including cold calling and telesales.
- Proven success in achieving sales-related targets in a high-performance culture.
- Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet-based applications.
- Strong planning, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
