Job Title: Humanities Teacher

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Humanities Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons in History, Geography, and other humanities subjects to students of varying abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching: Deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
  • Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and refinement of the humanities curriculum.
  • Student Support: Provide academic and pastoral support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assessment: Design and administer assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and implement interdisciplinary projects and extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a humanities subject or relevant qualification.
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • Experience teaching humanities subjects at the secondary level is preferred.
