Job Description: Chef

We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our team at the Army Aviation Centre in Hampshire.

As a Chef with Sodexo, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our armed forces personnel.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prepare menus, taking into account dietary requirements and nutritional information.
  • Coordinate with the purchasing team to source fresh ingredients and manage inventory levels.
  • Supervise a team of chefs and kitchen assistants, ensuring they meet high standards of quality and hygiene.
  • Monitor food safety and hygiene procedures, reporting any issues to management.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in culinary arts or equivalent experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
