Nurse Hysteroscopist Position

Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Intensive Home Nursing Team for a Band 6 Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care within palliative care.
The service, based in the Michael Carlisle Unit in the Southwest of Sheffield, provides palliative and end-of-life care for individuals approaching the end of their life and their preferred place of care is at home.
This role requires close working relationships with patients, families, Continuing HealthCare, Community Nursing, Discharge teams, Hospices, and Social Care Providers.
We welcome applications from experienced nurses who have proven leadership and service improvement expertise.
Suitable candidates must have a valid UK driver's license and a vehicle for work purposes.
Working Hours/Pattern: 25.5 hours a week for 3 days. The service operates 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Main Duties:
- To support the Operational Service Lead and Clinical Services Manager in providing coordinated, high-quality care to patients requiring end-of-life care at home.
- To deputize in the absence of the Operational Service Lead and provide daily support with the operational management of the Intensive Home Nursing Service.
- To provide supervision, mentorship, and professional leadership support for Nurses, Healthcare Support Workers, and Administrators.
- To ensure that high-quality patient-focused care is delivered by the IHNS and meets the expectations of individual patients and reflects the strategic direction of the service.
- To work flexibly to ensure care is delivered 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, including participating in weekend working.
