Hours of work: 37.5 hours a week, Term Time Only. 6 month Fixed term contract

Eltham College, a highly successful independent day school in south-east London, is seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to assist in the delivery of co-curricular drama and provide practical support for A-level and GCSE students within our thriving Drama department.

The post holder will be expected to familiarise themselves with core taught elements of the GCSE and A Level courses, work independently with small groups of students, and provide administrative support as requested for the department such as booking theatre trips. This role will mainly be in the Senior School but may include working with younger students in the Junior School.

We are looking for a Director in Residence for the Drama department to support the excellent work that is taking place and develop new projects and provide more opportunities for students. Our ideal candidate will be a graduate of Drama or a related discipline and have demonstrable experience in directing a variety of productions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the delivery of co-curricular drama

Requirements:

  • Graduate of Drama or a related discipline
  • Demonstrable experience in directing a variety of productions
