Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Manager to join our team in Peterhead, Scotland. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all environmental aspects of our projects are properly managed and compliant with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of environmental management systems (EMS) that meet ISO 14001 requirements
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental legislation and regulations
  • Develop and deliver training programs for project staff on environmental procedures and best practices
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor environmental performance
  • Build and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and supply chain specialists

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing EMS
  • Knowledge of environmental regulation and legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Degree-level qualification in Environmental Management or equivalent technical qualification
