Science Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Science Teacher to join our team at Teaching Personnel. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive Science lessons to students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons tailored to the needs of SEN students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with colleagues and specialists.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and staff.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in SEN education.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching Science, preferably within an SEN setting.
