Year 3/4 Subject Lead

This exciting opportunity allows you to take on a leadership role, shaping the educational direction of our school. As a Year 3/4 Subject Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing curriculum frameworks, ensuring seamless integration with existing curriculum guidelines.
About the Leadership Opportunity:The successful candidate will have a strong passion for teaching and a deep understanding of how to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment. You will work closely with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student development, ensuring every student reaches their full potential.
Main Responsibilities:- Curriculum Development: Develop and implement creative lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of your students, ensuring seamless integration with existing curriculum frameworks.
- Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and record student progress, adapting your teaching strategies as needed to support individual learning needs.
- Inclusive Classroom Environment: Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where students feel valued and motivated to learn, adhering to our school's commitment to inclusive education.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student development, maintaining open lines of communication and collaboration.
- Classroom Management: Effectively manage classroom resources and maintain a well-organized and stimulating learning environment, prioritizing student safety and well-being.
- Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK, with a strong understanding of educational best practices.
- Teaching Experience: Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally with exposure to both Year 3 and Year 4.
- Curriculum Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and effective teaching strategies for a mixed-age class.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students and work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
- Commitment to Inclusive Education: Commitment to inclusive education and the ability to cater to a wide range of learning needs and abilities.
£42,000 - £60,000 per annum, based on experience.
