Lift Service Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Lift Service Engineer to join our team at Stirling Warrington in Lincolnshire. As a Lift Service Engineer, you will be responsible for managing your own lift service route, overseeing a lift engineer's mate, and attending lift breakdowns and undertaking planned servicing and maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage your own lift service route in Lincolnshire and the surrounding areas
  • Oversee a lift engineer's mate to ensure works are carried out correctly
  • Attend lift breakdowns and undertake planned servicing and maintenance work
  • Provide Service and PPM work at customer sites
  • Provide technical support and advice to customers and maximise the first time fix rate
  • Maintain a professional image at all times as you're a company ambassador on site
  • Travel throughout the coverage area

Key Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 qualified in Lift Engineering
  • 2 years experience within a Lift Service / Maintenance Engineer position
  • Relevant qualifications for the position e.g. J Modules
  • Proficient with fault finding, diagnosis and repair on either / both Passenger and Goods lifts
  • Self-motivated, reliable and organised
  • Full UK driving licence and prepared to travel with the role
  • Participate in a call out rota – Route is based in Lincolnshire and surrounding areas
