Role Overview

As a Collections and Delivery Driver for Angard Staffing, you will be responsible for driving a long wheel-based van, delivering parcels on a dedicated route, quickly and efficiently, whilst maintaining our high integrity standards and demonstrating friendly customer service. This role is perfect for individuals who really enjoy a physically active work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient delivery of parcels.
  • Conduct safety checks on your vehicle to ensure it is roadworthy and compliant with regulations.
  • Lift and carry items up to 30kg, equivalent to 32 bags of sugar, as part of your daily duties.
  • Collect and deliver parcels to households and businesses, providing excellent customer service and going the extra mile to meet customer expectations.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence with no more than six points.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work with a variety of customers.
  • Upbeat and self-motivated individual with a love of the outdoors.
  • Good level of fitness to meet the demands of the role.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Resilience and flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
