Responsibilities

  • Assess student progress through assignments, exams, and projects, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the school's Computer Science curriculum.
  • Utilize technology and digital tools to enhance learning and engage students in interactive activities.
  • Communicate with parents regarding student progress, achievements, and areas of improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Proven experience delivering high-quality Computer Science lessons to primary or secondary students.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages, computer systems, and software applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that meets the unique needs of individual students.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to providing the best possible learning experience for students.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods and materials to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
