Lead Engineer - Tolerance

Vårgrønn is a pioneering offshore wind company driving the energy transition in Europe. We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Engineer - Tolerance to join our Green Volt project team.

About the Role:

  • Lead the development, contracting, and execution of WTG contract packages.
  • Support turbine selection, TSA negotiation, and manufacturing and installation phases.
  • Review WTG supplier technical documentation and deliverables.
  • Manage and coordinate WTG technical and interface aspects.
  • Review technical schedules and discuss alignments with turbine manufacturers.
  • Participate in design review and manufacturing meetings with suppliers and inspectors.
  • Support technical contract negotiations with turbine manufacturers.
  • Liaise with external professionals for technical expertise and project support.

Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with extensive project management experience, technical knowledge of wind turbine technology, and a strong understanding of industry standards, offshore regulations, and HSE legislation.

About Vårgrønn:

Vårgrønn is a joint venture between Plenitude (Eni) and HitecVision, with a 20% share in Dogger Bank, the world's largest offshore windfarm under construction. We are collaborating with Equinor to develop a floating offshore wind project at Utsira Nord in Norway and leading a collaboration with European Energy in the Baltics.
