Salary
The estimated annual salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience. As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, you will be rewarded with a competitive salary, plus opportunities for career progression and professional development.
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic candidate who can work effectively in a dynamic classroom environment. As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in planning and delivering lessons, managing student behaviour, and assessing student progress. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting teachers with lesson planning and preparation;
- Supporting students with their learning and academic progress;
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need a First-Class Graduate degree in Education or a related field, and a proven track record of working with young children. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment. A valid Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is also required for this position.
