Theatre Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Theatre team as a Band 5 Surgical Care Professional. As an organisation, we value a healthy work-life balance, and we encourage applicants to discuss flexible working arrangements that suit their needs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring nursing documentation is accurate and timely, demonstrating awareness of Trust policies and procedures, and administering medicines in accordance with Trust guidelines.
This role involves working closely with our multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have skills or knowledge in all areas of theatres, including scrub, recovery, and anaesthetics. Relevant training will be provided.
We welcome Newly Qualified Practitioners to apply. This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, with the possibility of part-time consideration. The salary range is £29,970 - £36,483 per annum, pro rata.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation
- Demonstrate awareness of Trust policies and procedures
- Administer medicines in accordance with Trust guidelines
- Promote a clean environment and prevent hospital-acquired infection
- Respond promptly to problems or issues affecting patients/carers
Person Specification:
- Registered Nurse level 8 or C or C+G 752/ NVQ level 3 Operating Department Practitioner/Dip HE in Operating Room Practice
- Training qualification or equivalent experience
