Job Description:
  • The English Support Assistant will provide individualized support to students, helping them to overcome obstacles in their learning journey.
  • Collaborate closely with EYFS and KS1 Teachers and the SEND team to develop effective strategies for student success.
  • Promote a love of reading and writing among students, fostering a growth mindset and encouraging creativity.
  • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities will be provided to ensure the candidate remains up-to-date with best practices in education.

Requirements:
  • A degree in English, Linguistics, Education, or a related field from a top UK university.
  • A genuine passion for working with vulnerable and disadvantaged children.
  • An empathetic and caring approach to teaching and learning.
  • A strong interest in linguistics and/or a future career as a Primary School Teacher or Speech and Language professional.
  • A competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
