We are Computacenter (UK) Limited, a leading IT infrastructure services provider. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions to clients worldwide. We are currently seeking a skilled Datacentre Electrical Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the operations and maintenance of Data Centre Critical Facilities. This role offers an exciting opportunity for growth and collaboration, whether you are at the beginning of your career in maintenance or an experienced professional looking to join a fantastic team in data centre maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform daily site checks on Critical M&E kit and site
• Identify faults, log and escalate
• Document and report on work completed to ensure compliance with Company and Customer Procedures
• Carry out onsite general maintenance
• Monitor Building Monitoring system for all site M&E
• General site maintenance including tidying and maintaining of site
• Project involvement when required
• General knowledge of Datacentre power, UPS, Generators, CRAC, Breakers, Fuel
• Working with third-party M&E vendors
• Providing site duties and overseeing work
• Working alongside other Data Centre Teams
• Writing/Assisting in writing procedures
• Reviewing/Approving of RAMS and Work permits

Requirements
Datacentre experience working within a Critical Facilities function/team is desirable but not essential. Electrical or Mechanical qualification/experience is desired. Either 17th/18th - Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations qualifications or the desire to undertake this course is necessary. IOSH management at work is desirable. Knowledge of Building Management systems is essential. CAFM is desirable but not essential. Familiarity with UPS, Battery, Generators, HV/LV switching, CRAC/Cooling systems, Fire control systems, Water Hygiene is desirable.

Salary Range: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, based on experience.
