Our work is critical. We're responsible for delivering the next warhead for the UK's nuclear deterrent and working at the forefront of nuclear technologies that keep the nation safe.
We support the government's strategy in various facets, including supporting the weapon programme for the nuclear deterrent, supporting the UK's counter terrorist programme, identifying nuclear tests around the world, and building an expert group of individuals to give the UK depth in nuclear science and technology.

Our programme will help accelerate your career by applying and growing your skills, knowledge, and experience, and learning more about what you enjoy and where you want to take your career.
During the programme, you'll have opportunities to learn about leadership in a large organisation, get involved in all aspects of delivering a project, understand how a complex organisation works, develop further in an area of particular interest, and take part in potential placements working in project teams on Major New Build projects.
The structured programme comprises a series of placements to help accelerate your learning and advance the development of your skillsets. You'll also get the opportunity to start working towards chartership.
Requirements
- You'll be recently qualified in any degree discipline and need to provide evidence of a minimum 2:2 degree before starting.
- You must be able to join us in September 2025. We recruit on a rolling basis, so we'll close as soon as our positions are filled.
- Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role. You must be a British National to apply.
