The role sits within the debt advisory team, where you will work closely with experienced principals to deliver debt advisory services to clients.
As a debt advisory graduate, you will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of transactions, including asset classes and deal structures, gaining a deep understanding of the market.
Caravel is looking for a graduate with a real estate degree, or someone with a non-real estate degree but with experience in real estate, or up to 12 months of full-time real estate experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Origination:
Lead alongside partners in the origination of new debt and equity advisory clients and mandates, taking ownership of certain client relationships over time.
Evaluation of Deals:
Conduct due diligence on potential clients, analysing transactions from a qualitative and quantitative perspective, undertaking economic and market research to validate assumptions within proposals.
Prepare presentations, including cashflow models to determine debt capacity and appropriate financing structures, and prepare full Deal Memos to present to lenders.
Deal Execution:
Present investment opportunities to targeted lenders on behalf of clients, negotiating terms offered by lenders and presenting back to clients.
Assist lenders in obtaining credit approval, reviewing legal documents and assisting borrowers in presenting deals to other lender stakeholders.
Salary is £35,000 p.a. + bonus.
