Job Title: Year 1 Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Year 1 class teacher to join our team at a reputable primary school in Dulwich, South East London. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of delivering high-quality education and providing a supportive learning environment for students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach Year 1 classes and develop engaging lesson plans
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective curriculum
  • Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs
  • Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment
Requirements:
  • UK qualified teacher status (QTS)
  • Recent teaching experience within the last 10 years
  • Ability to differentiate content for pupils with SEND
  • Strong behavior management skills
  • Proficiency in using formative and summative assessments to maximize pupil progress
