About the Job:

A leading manufacturer in the FMCG sector is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Lower Langford, Somerset. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in either electrical or mechanical engineering, with experience working in a fast-paced, automated factory environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out regular maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Investigate equipment failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime
  • Work closely with the engineering team to develop and improve processes

Requirements:

  • Engineering qualification (electrical or mechanical)
  • Experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, belts and chains
  • Familiarity with sensors, relays, 3 phase and single phase systems

The company offers a competitive salary package, comprising an estimated £54,000 - £61,000 per annum, plus benefits and career development opportunities.
