Summer School Welfare Manager

International House London is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Summer School Welfare Manager to join our team in Oxford. As a key member of our Centre Management Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our young learners, as well as supporting and managing our House Supervisors and welfare staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor student welfare, including illness, homesickness, and absence from lessons or activities
  • Manage a team of House Supervisors and welfare staff
  • Communicate effectively with international teenagers and adults, demonstrating cultural awareness and sensitivity
  • Work to deadlines and think on your feet to resolve issues

Requirements
  • Ability to be firm and fair
  • Experience in pastoral care or a related field
