We have an exciting opportunity at Prime Appointments for a motivated machinist to progress in their career. This role comes with a competitive salary range of £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, based on experience.

The Position
  • This is a full-time position with standard working hours from 08:00-16:00, Monday to Friday, and an early finish on Fridays.
Main Responsibilities:
  1. Identify and flag reject/rework data by activity, process, department, individual, etc.
  2. Systematically monitor and record quality issues.
  3. Develop close collaboration with the Drawing Office to facilitate design improvements.
  4. Spearhead the establishment of quality standards for new products.
Necessary Qualifications:
  • An established background in inspecting machined components is indispensable.
  • A solid grasp of quality inspection machinery and systems is crucial.
  • Superior ability to make informed decisions, both independently and as part of a team.
