Tramper and Haulier

We are looking for an experienced HGV Class One Driver to join our team as a Hercules Tramper. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting commercial vehicles and plant machinery throughout the UK using the latest generation of transporter equipment.

About the Role

• Working as a member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of commercial vehicles and plant machinery throughout the UK.
• You will be required to load and secure products, complete detailed inspection and delivery paperwork, and maintain compliance with all safety and transport regulations during journeys.
• This role involves tramping, which means 4 nights away from home per week.

Requirements

• HGV Class One licence
• At least 2 years of HGV Class One Driving Experience
• In-date CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and Digi Tacho
• No more than 6 points on your driving record, no IN, DD, or DR penalty codes
• A good level of physical fitness, as the job requires exertion and working at height
