Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Project Specialist to join our team at Brush Transformers in Glasgow, United Kingdom. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious professional to take on a challenging role and contribute to the development of effective sustainability teams.

The successful candidate will support the analysis and delivery of sustainability metrics through reporting and accreditation schemes, working closely with clients and design teams to provide optimal building design solutions. A graduate qualification in building services, architectural engineering, or a related field is essential, along with experience of IESVE software and BREEAM knowledge.

This role involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring that projects meet client requirements and are delivered within budget and on programme. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a strong appreciation of mechanical and electrical engineering systems.

Responsibilities

  • Sustainability Analysis: Deliver sustainability analysis and reporting, including embodied carbon analysis, sustainability frameworks, and LZCT feasibility studies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with clients and design teams to provide optimal building design solutions through iterative and parametric simulations.
  • Project Management: Develop a detailed brief of project mechanical and electrical building services requirements and produce documentation demonstrating clear understanding of client needs.
  • Reporting: Conduct clear and detailed options appraisals and produce reports justifying recommendations made to ensure client sign-off of brief.
  • Industry Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge of guidance, regulations, and standards.
