Midwife Band 6 Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Midwife to join our team at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Midwife Band 6, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, woman-centered care to our diverse community.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and energetic environment, rich in culture and diversity. Our maternity unit provides care to over 5,000 women yearly, and our midwifery-led Birth Centre delivers approximately 600 babies annually.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide holistic, woman-centered care to women from diverse backgrounds
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to meet the specific needs of women
  • Develop your knowledge and skills in areas such as fetal monitoring, CTG, and STAN monitoring
  • Participate in our rotational program, gaining experience in inpatient and outpatient areas
  • Contribute to our Practice Education team, supporting students and developing your skills as a practice supervisor and assessor
