Job Description:

As an Academic Accommodation Worker, you will provide support to students with disabilities during exams by either reading aloud or acting as a scribe. This is a part-time, flexible role that allows you to work around your studies or other commitments.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide assistance to students with disabilities during exams.
  2. Read aloud exam questions to students upon their request.
  3. Follow the student's instructions regarding when to start and stop reading.
  4. Assist students with drawing, adding to maps, diagrams, graphs, and tables.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) or studying towards a degree.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or familiarity with academic environments is desirable.

We offer a competitive salary of £22,500 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as shopping vouchers for referrals.
