We are seeking an experienced nurse to join our team as a Research Nurse in the Oncology department at ARI. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your research skills and contribute to the delivery of exceptional clinical and research care to patients involved in clinical research studies.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the delivery of direct and indirect care to patients participating in research trials
- Learn about the patient's pathway and have involvement with treatments of those participating in research trials
- Collate data accurately, liaise with data monitors, and national trial centres
- Work on a variety of clinical research studies within the breast unit portfolio under the direction of Breast surgeons and Medical/Clinical Oncologists
- At least 2 years post-registration experience
- Minimum of 1 year clinical research experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible approach to work
- Passion to learn
- Opportunity to develop research skills and contribute to the delivery of exceptional clinical and research care
- Chance to work independently managing patient caseload

We welcome applications from nurses with little or no research experience who have a genuine interest in moving into clinical research. Consideration will be given to those who are willing to work through a pre-determined development programme and KSF outline enabling progression to the Band 6 foundation requirement for the post after at least 24 months at Band 5.
