About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our Marine Engineering team in Essex. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting projects, including managing subcontract design activity, controlling Bills of Materials, and assisting with the design and analysis of relevant systems.

You will work closely with our team to provide solutions for in-field failures, identify and troubleshoot technical issues, and support the introduction of new products and projects. Additionally, you will be responsible for data collection and validation activities to ensure products and projects meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess a degree-level qualification and relevant experience in an industrial setting supporting marine engineering projects. You will be conversant with engineering design protocols, aware of industry standards and regulatory requirements, and have some knowledge of hydrogen safety protocols.

You will be familiar with engineering software tools such as MATLAB/Simulink and CAD (Catia/SolidWorks packages. A career passion for decarbonization and the ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment are essential for this role.
