We are seeking an experienced SENCo to join our team at River Mill School in Stratford St, Mary, Suffolk. This is a permanent, term-time only position with up to £45,000 per annum salary, depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of improving the quality of provision in Special Education Needs and have strategic vision and commitment to achieving progress for disadvantaged students.

As a SENCo, you will work closely with the Headteacher and therapy team to determine the strategic development of the SEND policy. Your key responsibilities will include providing professional guidance to colleagues, liaising with staff, parents, and other agencies to ensure pupils with SEN receive appropriate support, and advising on differentiated teaching methods.

You will also support pupils with complex communication needs, autism, and associated learning and emotional needs, working collaboratively with our experienced teams to achieve real and significant progress.
