ONNEC Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Site Manager to lead our cabling projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of cabling infrastructure, ensuring that all works are completed to the highest standards and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of supervisors and engineers to ensure all cable installations meet ONNEC Group and manufacturer quality standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments, draft method statements, and ensure all health and safety procedures are followed.
  • Manage stock effectively, ensuring sufficient materials are available for efficient installation.
  • Compile progress reports and provide information to the Project Manager in a logical format.
  • Perform quality checks on all works carried out by cabling engineers and ensure all required quality standards are met.
  • Develop patching schedules and ensure timely implementation of patching requirements.
  • Document all required installations as specified.
  • Develop Operations and Maintenance manuals as required.
  • Assist with urgent installation works as needed.
  • Maximize project profitability at all times.
  • Provide financial information to the Project Manager/Senior Project Manager when requested.

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of cabling installation practices.
  • Ability to organize teams on a project.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools, including Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent people management and leadership skills.
  • Flexible approach to work and responsibilities.
  • Proactive management style.
